Whether you are thinking about creating a will or trust for the first time, or perhaps revising your current will or trust, The Biggers Law Firm, P.C. devotes much of its practice to assisting individuals with their estate planning needs. Estate planning is a term used to describe the process wherein an individual or a family determines how best to manage and distribute their property and assets. Many times, the estate planning process incorporates the use of multiple documents which each serve a separate and distinct purpose. Estate planning can incorporate wills, trusts, powers of attorney, medical directives, guardianships, and other long-term planning devices. Regardless of your particular estate planning needs, if you are contemplating a change, we encourage you to contact our offices.

In addition, The Biggers Law Firm, P.C. is experienced in the probate process and frequently assists clients in handling the administration of their deceased loved ones’ estates.

Finally, it also is sometimes necessary for the probate court to intervene in disputes, and unfortunately these disputes typically involve family members. It may be that the validity of a will is contested. The administration of a trust may be challenged or the job done by the trustee scrutinized. It could be thought that a family member needs to have a guardian appointed. Regardless of the particular situation, or which side you may be on, The Biggers Law Firm, P.C. can also help you protect your rights in probate court.
