Ms. Prister practices primarily in the areas of immigration, managed care, general litigation and insurance defense. She counsels management and HR directors in immigration matters relating to their employees and works with organizations in areas of employment law, training and policies and procedures.
Because of her immigrant roots, she brings knowledge, professionalism and compassion to her immigration practice. She practices immigration law as it relates to both Business and Family, plus visas. She is fluent in Italian and some conversational Spanish.
Emanuela was born in Dallas, Texas but grew up in Italy where she attended schools from kindergarten to high school and lived in Firenze, Bologna, Roma and Trieste. While in Law School, Emanuela interned at the McLennan County District Attorney’s Office where she clerked for Beth Toben Deputy First Assistant to the District Attorney in the Spring 2000 term. She also interned at the INS Office of Legal Counsel in Dallas, Texas in the Fall of 2001.
