"Our goal was to create a litigation practice that offers the quality of a big firm and the personal service of a boutique firm," says Greg Blaies. "And that is what Blaies & Hightower has done."

Ten years ago, Greg co-founded the downtown Fort Worth firm, bringing with him a reputation as a great litigator and a great counselor. Greg practices in the area of complex commercial litigation and arbitration, personal injury, health care/medical malpractice, products liability and sexual torts.

He is recognized by his legal colleagues as one of the region's best lawyers in these fields. He is AV rated and recognized as a Top Attorney by his peers in Fort Worth Magazine (2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2007), as well as a Texas Super Lawyer in Law and Politics Magazine (2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008). Greg has also been identified as one of the "Elite 100" lawyers in Tarrant County by the Fort Worth Business Press (2004). He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Tarrant County Bar Association, Texas Association of Defense Counsel, Defense Research Institute and the Bar Association of the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation. Greg is licensed in the United States Supreme Court, and the United States District Court for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas.

Greg has extensive trial experience in state and federal court. He is board certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and is recognized as a Civil Trial Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, and is licensed to practice law in Texas and Oklahoma.

Winning cases. Finding solutions. Solving problems. This is how Greg Blaies practices law everyday for every client.

He received his undergraduate degree in political science from Baylor University and his law degree from Baylor University School of Law. While in law school Greg studied at Emmanuel College, Cambridge University in England and was a member of the Phi Delta Phi legal honor fraternity.

But Greg's greatest satisfaction comes not from "winning cases" but from helping clients. "I enjoy meeting and working with clients," he says. "I want to help them solve their problems. And I think our clients would tell you-we do serve them well."
