Kenneth is a past Chairman of the American Bar Association's Family Law Section, the world's largest family law organization. He is credited with increasing involvement and revamping the 15,000-member section, especially in areas to help family law attorneys render better services at reasonable cost to their clients, including divorce mediation. Ken is also one of six private practitioners in the U. S. named to the Board of Advisors for the American Law Institute's Restatement of Family Law Project. The Project had the formidable task of recommending changes to carry family law into the 21st century, and published its authoritative Principles in 2002. A frequent author and lecturer on Family Law topics to state, national and international family law organizations, and listed in Who's Who in America and Who's Who in American Law, and The Best Lawyers in America, Ken is a quoted source of legal information in publications such as The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, The Washington Times, The Dallas Morning News, Dallas Child, Canada's National Post, and The Texas Lawyer, among others. He was selected to be a 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 Texas SuperLawyer. He is a Master in the Annette Steward American Inns of Court.
