Veteran attorney Kevin Fuller has been selected by his peers as the Family Lawyer of the Year in Dallas. He is one of six Koons Fuller attorneys featured in Texas Best Lawyers, including Julie Crawford, Mike DeBruin, Heather King, Rick Robertson and Ike Vanden Eykel.

Mr. Fuller has also been named one of the Top 100 Attorneys in Texas in Texas Monthly. He is featured among the Best Lawyers in Dallas by D Magazine and has been listed in The Best Lawyers In America publication since 1997.

Mr. Fuller is President of the Collaborative Law Institute of Texas and has actively promoted the use of collaborative law in divorce in the local and statewide media. He is a former Chairman of the Family Law Section of the Dallas Bar Association, a former member of the Texas Family Law Council and a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.

Over the past two decades, Mr. Fuller has gained a reputation as one of the state's best family lawyers. He has acquired extensive trial experience involving multi-million dollar estates, complex property issues and the custody of children.

He serves an increasing number of his clients using the collaborative law process that emphasizes settling the parties' disputes in a confidential and less adversarial atmosphere.

He is a member of The Collaborative Alliance (www.thecollaborativealliance.org), a consortium of attorneys who practice collaborative law in addition to traditional litigation.

Born November 16, 1958 in Santa Ana, California, he graduated from Texas A&M University (B.S. Economics, 1981) and the Baylor University School of Law (J.D., 1984), where he was an associate editor of the Baylor Law Review.

Mr. Fuller served on the board of directors of the Dallas Child Guidance Clinic and helped to initiate divorce recovery classes for parents and children.

He is married to firm partner Sharla Fuller and has three sons; Hudson, Cody and Casey Fuller.

Mr. Fuller has lectured at the largest and most prestigious attorney education courses in the state.
