The Firm has extensive experience in the defense of workers' compensation cases and related issues. We represent employees in a broad range of workers' compensation defense matters, including: claims defense litigation; inter-carrier claims; special disability trust fund claims; and professional sports injuries. The Firm is regularly engaged to counsel our clients on preventive measures to reduce workers' compensation exposure and conduct audits. The Firm also represents insurance carriers, corporations, independent adjusting companies and third party administrators. The Firm is frequently retained upon notice of injury to expeditiously preserve evidence, interview witnesses and gather information prior to the filing of a petition for benefits, and through trial and appeal. The Firm also represents professional sports leagues and teams in connection with the development and implementation of policies, procedures and the defense of claims for injuries to professional athletes pursuant to various collective bargaining agreements and local law.

Tracey R. Wallace is a Partner in the Firm's Dallas office. Ms. Wallace's primary area of practice is corporate defense in the area of employment/labor law, where she has represented private employers in various matters including, claims brought pursuant to Title VII, Sections 1981, 1983, 1985 and 1986, Worker's Compensation, FMLA, Age Discrimination, Disability discrimination and the Fair Labor Standards.

Ms. Wallace has also represented and advised governmental entities in administrative and judicial proceedings which include benefits analysis, claims brought pursuant to the Texas Open Meetings Act.
